The electric SUV is equipped with dual electric motors, delivering a power output of up to 550PS and 850Nm of torque. This configuration enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 60mph in just 4.3 seconds. Additionally, it boasts a projected driving range of up to 372 miles according to the WLTP testing cycle. The SUV is built with a 118.5kWh battery that supports 800-volt charging, allowing it to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 22 minutes when optimal conditions are met.

Maintaining the brand’s hallmark luxury aesthetics and off-road prowess, the Range Rover Electric integrates a new electric powertrain alongside enhanced aerodynamic features. Notably, the vehicle is capable of navigating through water depths of up to 900mm, underscoring its robust design. This new model has been in the development and testing phase for several years, ensuring it meets the high standards associated with the Range Rover name.

Production of the Range Rover Electric will receive support from Jaguar Land Rover’s Wolverhampton facility, which is tasked with manufacturing battery packs and electric drive units. This collaboration between facilities emphasizes the company’s commitment to transitioning to electric vehicles while maintaining its reputation for producing high-quality luxury automobiles.
